Yes we can! I am 96 pounds and I play can play one fine and without a strap too not sitting. Yes they’re heavy but that doesn’t mean we can’t hold them! I mean come on! If it’s “holding stuff” I think us girls are pretty damned experienced with “holding extra weight.”

I said they are too heavy for girls to play and the reason is because I am 165 pounds and it hurts me to play one after a while so it would hurt a girl as well but if you want to play it anyway go right ahead. Favourite new song I discovered is Frankie Teardrop by Suicide. By the way I would never get a physical job again since the last one I had was for a month and almost killed me.

girls can absolutely play Gibson Les Paul guitars as or better than guys and hearing that you play them fine i really want to congratulate you U Rock Girl!
As a general rule, it is the truth. There are obvious exceptions, like yourself, but the average girl probably can’t just pick up a Les Paul and play it for an extended time. I think it is great you can do it, most girl guitarists I see are playing strats.

Well… I guess that shows how little this 6’3″ inch bass players knows. I aways thought they were kinda tiny.
